The Compliance Surveyor (Electrics) will ensure our portfolio is compliant with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate standardsand will have a proven track record of auditing compliance within the social sector.
The role holder will work as quality control and customer interface in all aspects of the compliant assurance and delivery ofservicing and maintenance programme across a residential property portfolio. The role holder will also provide advice regarding
the design of mechanical and electrical installations relating to both existing properties and new build properties across Torus’
portfolio.
The post will be based in Warrington but travel to other locations will be required.
Responsibilities:
- To proactively work with the Compliance Team to provide an efficient and coordinated workflow to deliver full assurance of
through the completion of quality audits
- To liaise with internal and external contractors on site ensuring the service provides value for money, meets quality and
- To implement a reliable, effective quality assurance system for all work streams by combining fully intrusive, work in progress
monthly reporting
- To monitor contractors / suppliers and ensure their standard of work is acceptable and in compliance with recognised safety
- To support the manager and ensure that financial payments are reviewed for accuracy and validity prior to processing
- To be responsible for providing advice regarding the design of mechanical and electrical installations relating to both
- To provide technical support on-site monitoring standards and performance of contractors to ensure a high standard of quality
- To keep up to date with training, developments, and changes in legislation
- To assist with organising internal and external audits and help embed any subsequent action plans including completing and
- To contribute to the delivery of the operational plan and the development of an outstanding service that makes a positive
- To act as champion of change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money and risk management.
- To take personal responsibility for your own personal and professional development.
- To be a positive influence in a team based on trust, mutual respect, and integrity in which everyone takes individual
accountability and responsibility whilst working together as a team.
Skills and Experience:
- Solar PV Installer Qualification Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (18th Edition) & maintenance.
- IOSH Working Safely qualification or willing to work towards
- Evidence of and commitment to continual professional and personal development.
- Must hold full current driving license.
- Ability to travel to various locations using own transport with business insurance.
Interview Process:
- Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview.
