Where better to start your Electrical career than behind the scenes at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. As a Facilities Electrical Apprentice, you’ll be working alongside a team of experienced professionals, learning all about how we keep the resort running smoothly—from electrical systems and maintenance to safety checks and compliance.
Your studies will help back up what you’re learning on the job, giving you a solid understanding of the statutory and legislative requirements essential to keeping our guests, team members, and business safe at all times. Health & Safety will always be a top priority, and along the way, you’ll get to know more about Merlin Entertainments and the awesome career paths available in the world of theme parks and attractions.
You’ll get hands-on experience with electrical installations and inspections to fault-finding and repairs, you’ll be at the heart of operations, playing a key part in keeping everything powered up and safe across the resort. This apprenticeship offers structured training and real-world application, helping you develop both your technical skills and your future career.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (or equivalent) or above, including Maths, English, Science, and Information & Communications Technology.
- Energetic and proactive with a passion and a willingness to learn and develop within our resort facilities department.
- You will need to demonstrate self-discipline in your approach to both your academic studies and your workplace responsibilities, including punctuality and attendance.
- Excellent attention to detail - the role requires the diagnosis and repair of basic & complex electrical problems
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude is crucial.
- You must have excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay Range: GBP £23,227.00/Yr.
