Support Worker

One of our long term and reputable clients are looking for Support Workers with Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) training (formerly MAPA) in the Milton Keynes area.
Responsibilities of support workers are diverse and include but not limited to:
Supporting meal time activities including serving of healthy meals, drinks and drinks.Keeping service users engaged with fun and interesting games and activities.
Contributing to good housekeeping and household management.
Assisting with medication and treatment plans.
Attend appointments and complete written forms.
Escorting the individual on activities outside the home.
Helping people with personal hygiene and washing.
Location: Milton Keynes (MK4,MK6, MK8), Worker Type: Support Worker
Training: Mandatory Training + CPI (formerly MAPA, no substitutions accepted)Rate: £15.95 per hour.
Requirements:
- Care support work experience is essential.
- Complete mandatory training modules
- Require 2 professional references
- Undertake an enhanced DBS or provide DBS Update Service Certificate (terms apply)
Note: The client cannot accept workers on a Skilled Worker VISA for this assignment. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO OPPORTUNITY FOR TIER 2 VIA SPONSORSHIP WITH THIS ROLE**
