Group Management Accountant

• Annual Salary: £45,000-£55,000

We are seeking a Group Management Accountant to work closely with the CFO and lead finance figures across European subsidiaries. This role involves ensuring timely monthly reporting, supporting planning, reporting, and analysis for all subsidiaries, and handling complex accounting transactions.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Collaborate with subsidiary finance leads to ensure timely reporting of monthly management accounts, KPIs, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and monthly analysis of major contracts.
• Analyse reports, communicate important trends and measurements, and support Controllers with the year-end process to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
• Prepare consolidated management accounts and detailed quarterly financials for Board presentations.
• Use Consolidation Software to record all reports and provide analysis.
• Develop models, templates, and reports based on verbal direction.
• Reconcile monthly recharges between subsidiaries and ensure correct reporting within consolidation software.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting the US team with the year-end audit process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) or qualified by experience (QBE)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with US GAAP is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using Consolidation Software and Excel.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Teams/SharePoint.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organisational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with foreign subsidiaries where English is not the first language. Ability to speak a second language such as Spanish, French, or German is an advantage but not essential.
• The role is office-based with some international travel required.
