Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Number of Positions: 5
Qualifications Required: Numeracy/literacy skills with a good level of knowledge and understanding (at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2)
Start Date: 25th April 2025
Salary: £20,991 per annum
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN to join our fantastic team at Prospect House Primary Specialist School.
Prospect House Primary School
Prospect House is a new free special primary school in Higher Blackley, North Manchester. The school is the first school in the Trust to be open north of the city offering places for children with very significant learning needs and other associated additional needs, aged 3 – 11 years old.
Main purpose of the job:
To be a part of a team providing exceptional education for students so that they become happy, confident adults. The post holders will support teaching and learning across school, providing general support in the management of pupils and resources.
We’re looking for:
- Someone who understands the role of a Teaching Assistant, collaborates effectively with classroom professionals
- Someone who has basic knowledge of child development and learning.
- Someone who will be committed to professional standards, continuously striving to maintain and enhance their knowledge and skills
- Someone with a focus on teamwork and driving continuous improvement to support student success is required.
