BIM Coordinator (MEP) required to work for Principal Contractor on High Speed Rail London Tunnels Project in London

Contract - Outside IR35

London - 5 days per week on site

BIM Coordinator with previous ME MEP Mechanical Electrical experience required on major rail infrastructure construction projects

Role Brief
This role is responsible for checking and clash detection of the BIM information through ProjectWise and iTwin to assure alignment with the clients requirements
&bull Co-ordinate and monitor weekly BIM data drops from the supply chain
&bull Model federation
&bull Checking BIM co-ordination in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan
&bull Checking embedded BIM meta data of in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan

&bull Clash detection of BIM models in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan

Required Experience
&bull Recognised qualification from a MEP background &ndash Desirable
&bull Desirable to have Architectural or Structural experience although not essential
&bull Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle
&bull Experience of working within large infrastructure project environments
&bull Experience of clash detection
&bull Bentley AECOSim capable
&bull Bentley Projectwise capable
&bull Autodesk Navisworks capable
&bull Desirable to have Bentley iTwin experience although not essential
&bull Desirable to have Autodesk Revit experience although not essential
&bull 3D CAD Production on a Civil Engineering Project

&bull Good understanding BIM principles and PAS1192
