The purpose of the Assistant GM post is to support the Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Clinical Director and Head of Nursing to ensure that both strategic and operational demands continue to be met. The Assistant General Manager role will be a full time post accountable to the General Manager and deputise for the General Manager as appropriate.
The post holder will be fully responsible and accountable for the delivery of clinical services in their directorate. The post holder will have direct oversight of the following areas: Operational and management support for the junior medical workforce CRIC related AHP & Therapies support RBH Admissions and Outpatient oversight EPIC Optimisation Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Projects Staff Wellbeing
