Learning Support Assistant
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant seeking a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year in Southampton?
We are working with a number of welcoming primary schools who are looking to appoint a dedicated and confident LSA to support pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. These roles are full-time and offer the opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom through to the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and be confident delivering targeted interventions, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. You will play a key role in helping pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their individual learning goals.
To be considered, you will:
- Have recent experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary setting
- Be confident supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Have experience delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
- Be committed to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
