About the Role We are looking for an experienced part time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Barnet as the Clinical Lead. In this role, you will:
Provide specialist assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions for individuals experiencing substance use challenges. Offer clinical supervision to prescribing staff, ensuring best practice in line with professional and organisational standards.Lead on the implementation of clinical governance procedures, supporting the ongoing development of high-quality care. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, external agencies, and key partners to deliver holistic, person-centred support.
Salary: £54,665 - £59,000 per annum (for 15 hours per week, dependent on experience) Contract: Permanent
Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and benefits will be pro-rata based on contracted hours.

Essential Qualifications:
Medical Degree with Basic Medical Training completion. Full GMC-UK Registration with a License to Practice. MRCPsych or equivalent qualification. Consultant Psychiatrist on the GMC Specialist Register with a Substance Misuse endorsement. Essential Skills & Experience:
In-depth knowledge of addiction psychiatry, including opiate substitution therapy, detoxification protocols, and post-detox pharmacology. Experience working with substance use and mental health challenges, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.Strong understanding of clinical prescribing and governance. Flexibility to work across different sites and adapt to service needs.
