You'll be working at our Bedford site, doing 37.5 hours a week, 8:30 - 17:00, working Monday to Friday on an annual salary of

£26.000.00 per annum.

Purpose of the role

To provide TPI UK Clients with excellent Customer Service and ensure transport consignments are successfully executed in line with

expectations and agreements. As a Customer Service Advisor you will work within the TPI UK quality management system to

ensure full compliance at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for incoming Customer communications (orders, enquiries, complaints) ensuring all system
records are accurate and complete for successful transport execution.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with TPI UK Clients by demonstrating an awareness of the importance of customer
satisfaction.
  • Develop a deep understanding of TPI’s service offering to ensure Clients are presented with the most cost effective and
relevant solutions.
  • Drive profitability whilst maintaining maximum service levels.
  • Support Key Account and Business Development functions to maximise account retention and growth.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure transport consignments meet required deadlines.
  • Record complaints and deviations through the companies DIR/CAPA and nonconformance procedures.
  • Compile monthly KPI data.
  • Authorise costs and revenue following completion of transport orders.
  • Ensure compliance when transporting temperature controlled, ADR and CD consignments.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve successful results.
  • Overcome challenges in a pro-active way.

Functional/Technical Expertise:

  • Previous Customer Service experience ideally in transport/logistics/healthcare or a
  • service provision environment
  • Willingness to try new approaches and adapt to changes, providing constructive
  • feedback
  • Passionate about good Customer Service
  • Takes personal responsibility for delivering high quality of work
  • GCSE educated or similar level
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Able to work within a team and individually
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages and Freight Software
  • Ability to follow and provide clear instructions
