Legal Cashier

Ealing based law firm have an opening for an experienced legal cashier to take over and manager the day-to-day running of the legal accounts. Firm specialise in crime, family and mental health law including legal aid. Applications welcomed from full or part-time candidates.
Ideally, office based, the firm will consider hybrid working depending on the candidate.
Role involves:
- Day-to-day management of the accounts such as processing account transactions/payments
- Bank reconciliation
- Processing of invoices
- Preparation of monthly payroll
- Submission of VAT returns
- Responsibility for credit control
- Monitoring of cash flow
- Processing and administration of legal aid
- Apply awareness of Solicitor Accounting Rules to ensure compliance
Skills/Qualifications:
- Solid experience working as a legal cashier
- Firm knowledge of SRA accounting regulations
- Knowledge of legal aid procedures
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise work
