Interim Management Accountant
Location: West Devon (Tavistock)
Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
Pay Rate: £300 - £415 per day
Duration: February 2025 - August 2025 (with potential for extension)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial advice to support their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to support financial decision-making.
- Assist in year-end financial processes and audits.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Previous experience in an educational organisation is not essential but advantageous.
