[ref. z17563222] Grounds Maintenance Team Leader
Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, to join our well-established cleaning business in the Stoke-On-Trent area.
You must be available to work every Monday to Friday every week, working between 35-45 hours per week, depending on the weather.
You are more likely to work 35 hours during the cold, Winter days, but 45 during the Summer days.
The pay rate for this position, will be agreed upon the interview process & will be decided upon relevant, proven experience.
This is a hands-on Grounds Maintenance position, so experience is essential to begin this role.
You must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check or have a current Enhanced DBS which is dated within the last 2 years.
You must have a Full clean UK Driving License, preferably with C1 and/or C1E entitlement however, this is not essential.
We also prefer to you hold a Ride on Mowing Equipment, GM Plant & Equipment and Chainsaw Equipment Certification.
Required experience:- Strong leadership with a focus on planning to ensure you & your team always meet customer satisfaction.
- Work completion within an educational setting
You must be trustworthy, flexible, reliable & well-organised with an eye for attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Sports Line marking (including initial set up)
- PA1 & PA6A
- Strimming
- Hedgecutting
- Hand Mowing
- Hedge & Shrub maintenance
- Safe working practices & recognition of Risk Assessments
- Communicate at all levels, including with the site customer liaison
