Job Description
Reporting to a local MD and remote VP Finance you'll be a member of the Senior Leadership Team partnering closely with the SLT and key business leaders within the Business Unit. You'll provide strategic financial and business leadership to the division providing financial and business oversight, management reporting, financial planning & analysis, business strategy initiatives, capital investments, and special projects.
This position will have full responsibility for the business unit P&L, balance sheet, and working capital. They will be expected to evaluate current procedures and processes and make recommendations to improve operations and efficiencies in line with GAAP & Corporate Policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Director should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- Extensive experience of US GAAP and SOX
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
- Strong technical and financial skills combined with a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of an engineering / manufacturing business.
- The ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients, across international regions and cross-functional company teams.
