Location: Lookers Parts Plus, Thornaby Stockton

Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum

Hours: 42.5 Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:15pm Working one Saturday a month on a rotor 8:00am- 12:30pm (overtime)

We are on the look out for a Parts Supervisor to join our successful team at PartsPlus team here at Thornaby. We’re on the search for an experienced Parts Advisor who is looking to take the next step in their career and become an integral part of the successful running of our PartsPlus centre at Stockton.

Working alongside the Parts Centre Manager, your role will be pivotal to our continuous success. You will play an important part in managing the day-to-day duties of our team of Parts Advisors, while also stepping up to support Victoria as and when required.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic trailblazer to put their industry knowledge and passion for automotive parts to the test and successfully market and develop parts supplies to retail and trade customers and achieve the centres' goals.

  • Maximising results and parts sales opportunities through advanced preparation and planning
  • Being able to qualify customers needs through effective communication
  • Developing customer relationships through prospecting and maintain these relationships with follow-up calls
  • Retaining a full knowledge base of all of our stock, parts, accessories and pricing strategies
  • Implementing regular sales calls to drive additional sales opportunities for new / repeat business
  • Monitoring performance of the wider Parts team in order to maintain our success and to consistently achieve targets

You’ll be a real go-getter with heaps of industry knowledge and demonstrable parts experience. We need someone who has automotive product expertise as well as a good technical understanding of automotive maintenance. Previous experience working in a Parts department for is essential.

You must be a natural communicator with an excellent telephone manner, and be adept at negotiating, persuading, and influencing key stakeholders. You will be commercially astute, and a real results driven individual.
