Physical EffortThere is a requirement for;o Sitting, standing, and walking during every working day.o Repetitive movements on a regular basis.o Pushing/pulling of wheelchairs or transfer equipment as required.o Moving and handling of equipment daily.o Driving between patient visits Mental Effort There is a requirement to carry out assessments, perform documentation and provide reports on a daily basis.
It is expected that the post holder may be interrupted by carers/family/patient whilst carrying out assessment. It is expected that whilst in the office there may be interruptions from colleagues. There will be a requirement to be able to; o Check documents.
o Analysing statistics or carrying out calculations. o Carry out assessments and complete documentation. o Maintain contemporaneous patient records o Preparing reports/letters. o Carrying out non-clinical fault finding. For more information on this role please see the attached support information.
