More detail about the role The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides acute healthcare services to a population of approximately half a million people living in Mid Devon, East Devon, and the surrounding area.

The laboratory has strong links with the University of Exeter Medical School, providing a comprehensive Research and Development analytical service, both supporting trials and translating diagnostic research into clinical practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our team of dedicated professionals in the Blood Sciences Department of one of the leading Healthcare Foundation Trusts.
This vacancy is for a Medical Laboratory Assistant for duties in the busy Reception and Data input area. The successful applicant will possess good keyboard skills, an excellent telephone manner and should be highly literate and numerate. They must be capable of working as part of a team, have good communications skills, with an appreciation of the Hospital environment being an advantage.
They will be able, with suitable warning, to work flexible hours including a Saturday and Sunday morning rota.
