Maintenance Assistant

Location:Aberdeen

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

Contract: Permanent

Your new role:

As a Maintenance Assistant with Robertson Facilities Management, you will be working in commercial buildings across the portfolio of our local authority client. This will include office buildings, schools, libraries, care homes, park structures, etc.

This role is non-residential.

About the role:

  • To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor for basic repairs of doors, windows, plumbing systems, etc for general building fabric maintenance
  • Service and repair of internal fixtures and fittings.
  • To maintain accurate records of works in progress and completed

About you:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Qualified tradesperson, and/or extensive experience of property maintenance gained in either the Public or Private sector.
  • Basic Joinery skills
  • Basic Plumbing skills
  • Basic general building maintenance skills

The successful candidate will require a DBS Check before starting in the job.
