Teacher of GCSE Dance and Core PE
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our Dance and PE team. We would especially encourage applications from ECTs, who would have access to a comprehensive range of support and guidance at Toynbee. We would also welcome applications from more experienced teachers.The successful candidate will teach our GCSE Dance classes, whilst supporting the PE team with Core PE lessons.
You will join a highly ambitious Dance and PE Department that has been enormously successful over the past few years. The departments have a commitment to offering as many extra curricular opportunities to as many pupils as possible. As such, it has developed an extensive and thorough programme that has exceptionally high participation rates.This success is all built on consistent approaches to teaching and assessment, an extensive extra-curricular programme, and having the belief that all children will achieve their potential; the department really does embody the school motto of “Personal Best”.
While we are very proud of these outcomes for our students, we remain driven and determined to improve even further. We are keen to employ a teacher who will share in this commitment.
