Your new role

Reporting to a Finance Director, this is a senior role in a small team. Duties to include :

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and processing, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Manage and develop a team of financial accountants, setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and providing training.
• Review and approve account reconciliations for all balance sheet and intercompany accounts, and significant journal entries.
• Implement and maintain high-quality financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee VAT and corporate tax returns, prepare annual statutory accounts, and provide financial records to external auditors.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, monitor performance against targets, collaborate with Treasury on cash flow, and recommend cost reduction and profitability enhancement measures.

• Qualified in accounting CIMA/ACA/ACCA or other recognised accounting qualification.
• Strong commercial skills with an analytical mindset.
• Preferred experience with QuickBooks
