Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Year 2)
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a Year 2 class. In this Teaching Assistant role, you will provide vital support to the class teacher, assist with learning activities. You will also play an important role in supporting students during break times and delivering positive encouragement and feedback.
Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom management
- Provide one-on-one and small group learning support for pupils
- Assist with break time and playground supervision
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting
- Relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
