Senior Project Manager
Location: North-West / Midlands Based - Flexibility for travel required
Remuneration: Daily rate between £445 - £550
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative and leading decarbonised energy solutions.
- Support colleagues, outperform for our clients, and contribute to quality and profit.
- Manage and lead a team of project personnel to ensure successful project delivery.
- Promote industry-leading standards in safety and construction.
- Actively drive a positive safety culture of zero incidents.
- Provide a high level of customer experience along the customer journey.
- Be accountable for the financial performance of the project.
- Lead end-to-end project management, including planning, project controls, and reporting.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects to time, cost, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with matrix support from other functions, such as Sales, Engineering, and O&M.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
- Possess experience managing HSE in an engineering and construction environment.
- Have a strong understanding of the technology being installed.
- Work with a mix of in-house and third-party labour on large complex on-site energy projects.
- Use strong commercial acumen to drive financial success.
- Experience working with complex users of energy, such as solar, CHP, or hospitals.
Requirements:
- Experience in a customer delivery and internally facing role.
- Relevant Project Management qualification or equivalent.
- Degree in Engineering/Technical preferred but not essential.
- Safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH preferred but not essential.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
