My client, a large, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their team of engineering and environmental experts, based in the cathedral city of Norwich.Essential Criteria:- A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, or similar relevant discipline- Demonstrable experience within flood risk, flood mitigation, and drainage, including experience with design guidance to align with the relevant regulations and by-laws- Commercial experience in managing a range of projects- Experience liaising with a range of clients throughout the public and private sectors, and an acute commercial awareness- Good working knowledge of software packages, including MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, QGIS (and other GIS software), etc.It would also benefit applicants for the role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to possess the following:- Chartered Membership of a Professional Body (or actively working to attain Chartered Status)- Excellent communication skills and experience with stakeholder management- The ability to prioritise well and remain flexible, with good time management abilitiesIn your new role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a team of well-respected experts in the field, with extensive opportunities to develop your career through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
