Your new role
I am recruiting for a Legal Secretary for my client. You will be joining a busy and vibrant Commercial/Residential Property team. The duties will be varied and will include but not limited to:
- Audio typing/digital dictation (Bighand)
- Production of correspondence and documentation for fee earners via digital dictation
- Amending and reformatting documents and correspondence
- Dealing with all general conveyancing duties: preparation of contract packs, ordering searches, preparing and submitting SDLT forms
- Creating invoices and managing client files
- Liaising with clients both on the telephone and in person
- Assisting other secretaries
- Arranging appointments and meetings
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job, you will require:
- Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within a property team
- Great attention to detail and a methodical worker
- 60 WPM audio typing
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to work to deadlines
