Inclusion Support Assistant
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an Inclusion Support Assistant to work with the Learning Support team, in meeting the needs of our special educational needs students and enabling them to access our curriculum. The role involves working in classrooms under the direction of the class teacher, providing support for individuals or small groups of students, and supervision at lunchtimes
We are looking for applicants who are hardworking, with excellent communication skills and have a flexible approach. You must be able to keep calm when coping with pressure and also have knowledge of the workings of a busy secondary school. The post is ideal for applicants who wish to undertake a career in teaching who may benefit from gaining experience in a classroom setting before they enter onto their PGCE course
