Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a professional and proactive Corporate Receptionist to join our receptionist team and deliver an exceptional front-of-house experience. This role is pivotal in ensuring visitors, clients, and staff receive outstanding service, with responsibilities spanning reception duties, team leadership, and administrative support.Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Visitor Management:
- Meet and greet visitors professionally, ensuring they sign in and are issued visitor passes in line with access control policies.
- Notify building users of client arrivals, deliveries, and couriers.
- Escort external visitors as required.
- Operations and Administration:
- Prepare for the next day's meetings and visitor schedules using systems.
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area throughout the day.
- Carry out post room duties, including sorting, franking, and processing special deliveries.
- Report facilities issues to relevant teams and assist in resolving them promptly.
- Team and Emergency Support:
- Support the reception team, ensuring all expectations are met and support is effectively provided.
- Handle emergencies, including contacting emergency services when required.
- Reporting and Feedback:
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company systems.
- Provide constructive feedback and ensure smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Requirements

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An enthusiastic, committed, and professional demeanour.
- Strong telephone etiquette and diplomacy when dealing with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure.
