Reed are collaborating with a leading disaster restoration company who are dedicated to providing top-notch restoration services for properties affected by fire, water, and accidental damage who are looking for a Claims & Customer Service Manager.

This role is pivotal in managing and optimising the company's day-to-day claims administration process, ensuring efficient handling of all new and existing work instructions. You will lead the claims admin team, focusing on customer service, effective communication, and management of the end-to-end processing of work to enhance customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Directly manage logistics supervisors and oversee the claims administration team. Foster a positive working environment, encourage teamwork, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Claims Management: Develop and manage a seamless claims experience for customers, focusing on speed, transparency, and satisfaction. Manage relationships with insurance companies and other stakeholders to ensure effective claims processing.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the processing of job-related costs and the development of the claims team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Manage and resolve customer feedback and complaints efficiently. Ensure the team delivers exceptional service and support, resolving issues promptly.
  • Health & Safety: Promote a positive culture of compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior role managing staff, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong track record in customer service and process improvement.
  • Abilities: Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to change in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of complaint resolution procedures and customer service best practices.
