Exciting Opportunity: Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN) - Specialising in Nursing, Dementia & Palliative Care

Salary: £45,000 - £47,0000

Full-Time Hours - Clinical and supernumerary hours

About You:

  • Nursing Qualification: You have a Registered General Nurse qualification and hold a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Specialised Expertise: You have extensive experience in older adult care, particularly in dementia and palliative care settings.
  • Inspiring Leader: You have a strong ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team while promoting a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
  • Effective Communicator: Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build trusting relationships with residents, their families, and your team.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: You are well-versed in healthcare regulations and committed to delivering care that aligns with the latest standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Support the Nurse Manager in leading a passionate team of nurses and care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Resident-Centred Care: Oversee the creation and implementation of individualized, evidence-based care plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Mentorship & Development: Act as a role model and mentor for junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence in clinical practice.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to enhance the quality of life and well-being of our residents.
