Job Description
The Production Planner will be responsible for;- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure timely assembly and delivery of products.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure availability of materials required for production.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stakeholders to address supply chain challenges.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall production efficiency.
- Generate and analyse reports to track progress against production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Act as a point of contact between production teams and management to facilitate effective communication.
- Address and resolve any issues that may impact production timelines or quality.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Planner should have:
- Experience in production planning or supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in using planning software or ERP systems.
- An understanding of inventory management practices and principles.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A problem-solving mindset to address production and supply chain challenges.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
