An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Breast Institute for a Clerical Officer/Receptionist. We are seeking enthusiastic and competent individuals to provide Clerical/Receptionist support for the busy breast screening department.

The post will part-time over three days. Duties will be undertaken at the Nottingham Breast Institute and Ropewalk House.

The role would require working within a team to complete all daily tasks and general duties including preparing clinics, making and changing appointments, filing and answering the phone.

The position would also involve providing cover for the reception desk both at the Breast Institute and at Ropewalk House.

Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads, in view of changing priorities are essential. Also the need to work under your own initiative is necessary.

The successful candidates needs to be computer literate, experienced in the use of electronic communications and be confident during face to face interactions with patients and visitors. They will be a point of contact for patients at the Breast Institute and Ropewalk House and act as an information resource for staff and visitors.Knowledge of hospital systems i.e. Medway, PAS and DHR is desirable, however training can be provided.
