PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DUTIES OF THE ROLE. To work as a member of the Sexual Health Service providing care for patients attending integrated/GUM and CASH settings. To support and assist qualified nursing staff in the provision of skilled nursing care.
To ensure that the highest level of patient care is achieved at all times in the most effective manner. To assist with the day to day care of patients. Chaperone for and assist medical and nursing staff during procedures e.g. taking specimens and biopsy. Perform venepuncture (unsupervised) at the request of medical and nursing staff and be able to interpret clinical requests accurately from the medical record.
