Deliver underpinning knowledge training as appropriate to own competence Support allocated Apprentices through their Apprenticeship programme, assessing units and setting SMART targets for achievement of other apprenticeship components as applicable.
Maintain appropriate records of training and learner progress Maintain contact and familiarity with current clinical practice Ensure advice and guidance given to candidates confirms to standards, and any clinical policies and protocols applying to practice Manage the process of allocated learners through their planned awards Manage workload and time effectively Be a role model of professional practice and conduct Liaise effectively with clinical areas to ensure a positive and constructive learning environment is in place for candidates Give active support to the continual improvement of learning and development provision and resources Liaise effectively with Bands 1-4 Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, Assistant Director for OD and Talent Management, Learning Centre team, Practice Development Team and Ward Managers
