Main duties of the job
You must have:
- completion of a competency-based care certificate including workbook AND
- a minimum of 6 months experience working as a Healthcare Support Worker in an acute hospital environment or 1 yrs Nursing/Care Home experience.

Successful applicants will work in a VARIETY of specialties across the Trust to cover short term needs. The role involves meeting both physical and psychological needs and therefore need to have a flexible approach working as part of a wider team.
Successful candidates must be available to attend a Mandatory Induction Programme (terms & conditions apply) which consists of TWO FULL WEEK (Monday to Friday) plus two additional recall days.

Person specification
Knowledge
Essential criteria- An understanding around basic patient care
Experience
Essential criteria- Minimum of 6 months experience of working as a Healthcare Support Worker in an acute hospital environment or 1 years Nursing/Care Home experience
- Previous experience of working within public and a care environment/NHS
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Completion of a competency-based care certificate including workbook
- Short courses to undertake patient and clinical care duties
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential criteria- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
- Venepuncture and cannulation
