Library Assistant
Permanent, term time only plus ten days, Monday – Friday, 8am - 4pm
We are looking for a Library Assistant to join the Library team at UCS Senior School, Hampstead. The Library Assistant is responsible for supporting teaching staff in the delivery of education and facilitate the learning process for the students.The Library Assistant will be reporting to the Head of Library. This person will provide a friendly and efficient customer service and will be responsible for creating a positive rapport with all teaching staff and students.
The Library Assistant position reports to the Head of Library. The team comprises the Head of Library, the Assistant Librarian and the Library Assistant (term time only) The Library Assistant position requires a strong working relationship with all academic staff and pupils and in particular to support the management and development of the school library as a learning resource centre which supports and enhances the learning environment of the school of academic excellence with a strong ethos of independent thought and individual judgment.
