Main duties of the job
You will provide comprehensive and accurate admin and clerical support to operational and clinical teams within our Adult Physical Health Wheelchair service. This will include production of clinical letters, booking/rescheduling patient appointments, accurate data inputting onto electronic patient records system, answering complex telephone queries, minute taking, ordering.
The post holder will need to be flexible as they may be required to undertake cross site working to cover annual leave/sickness to meet the needs of the service.
Please note that a Full UK driving license is essential for this role.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Research and Development- Undertake surveys or audits (e.g., reception volume / traffic) as necessary. Ensure other admin staff undertake this as required.
- Complete staff surveys
- Frequent sitting or standing in a restricted position
- Word-processing and inputting data. Repetitive movements as required for data input
- Work will be predominantly office based although travel to support services taking place at other Trust locations may be required
- Predictable concentration (e.g. for transcribing)
- Ability to check own work
- Ability to pay attention to detail where there are unpredictable interruptions to the work pattern
- Typing complicated documents
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations
- Support the team handling appropriate customer complaints in relation to the service, escalating formal complaints to a Band 5 Senior Admin Lead if appropriate and liaising with other relevant departments and agencies
