We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our new general anaesthetic clinic located south of Manchester. This state-of-the-art facility features two surgical theatres and offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Manager, you will use your medical background to oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the hospital, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. You will also take on the role of CQC Registered Manager, ensuring that the site meets all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, including managing staff, coordinating services, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • CQC Compliance: Act as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring the clinic meets all CQC regulations and standards. This includes maintaining compliance with health and safety guidelines and safeguarding processes.
  • Clinical Governance: Implement and maintain robust clinical governance structures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to the clinical team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning and development of the clinic, aligning with organisational goals.

Requirements:

  • Professional Registration: Must hold current registration with either the NMC, HCPC, or GMC.
  • Management Experience: Proven experience in a clinical management role, preferably in a similar setting.
  • CQC Knowledge: Strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Organisational Skills: High level of organisational ability, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
