This is an excellent opportunity to become a College Coordinator at the North Rye site of ESPA College. Applications for this post are invited from suitability qualified and experienced individuals. The successful candidate should preferably possess:
  • A strong commitment to enabling and celebrating authentic Autistic identity.
  • A PGCE/ Cert Ed, or equivalent level 5 teaching qualification.
  • A creative and individualised approach to curriculum development.
  • Experience of planning, delivering and ensuring high quality teaching and learning experiences for autistic students with additional support needs.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and project management skills.
  • Experience of working with key external stakeholders and internal professionals.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the successful operation of a vibrant college site while following Safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of all staff and students.
  • Ensuring the wellbeing and professional development of a diverse staff team while maintaining high quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Ensuring that best practice is maintained in accordance with ESPA College Policies and Procedures and relevant company policies.
  • Monitoring and updating student’s EHCP plans and tracking progress made towards achieving their long term aspirations.
