FA to Global CFO
National Express are recruiting a Financial Assistant who will report directly into Chief Financial Officer. Based at our Liverpool Street location in London. The successful candidate will assist the CFO in managing the financial operations of the company, involving a variety of tasks, including basic financial analysis, reporting, and administrative support.
The role is hybrid (2/3 days per week in the office). There also may be a requirement to travel to our Head Office in Birmingham - costs will be covered by the company.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the preparation and updating of financial reports
- Help conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends and variances
- Assist in preparing financial presentations for senior management meetings
- Coordinate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting
- Provide general administrative support to the CFO
- Liaison with third parties such as auditors
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
- Excellent attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to manipulate data and perform advanced Excel functions such as data tables
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word and experience with databases
