Page Personnel are working with a well established Logistics business based in Durham, due to growth within the team, they have a new, permanent Finance Assistant position available and can offer full AAT study support within this opportunity.Our client are looking for a diligent and experienced candidate to join their existing team on a permanent basis.
Job Description- Processing invoices and bank reconciliations.
- Using MS Excel on a daily basis and assisting with reporting and analysis.
- Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Contributing to the development of financial procedures and policies.
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
- Assisting with month end duties as and when required.
- Working with the team to streamline financial processes.
- A degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What's on Offer
Salary up to £28,000 per annum depending on skills and experience + permanent position + full AAT study support + office based position + 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays) + excellent staff benefits package.
