Tissue Viability Nurse | Croydon Health Services NHS Trust

The Tissue Viability Nurse will assess and plan care for patients referred to the service and work in conjunction with the tissue viability team. The role will include the provision of care and supervision of the delivery of this care by clinical staff.
The post holder will offer education and support to patients, carers and other health care professionals.
The Tissue Viability Nurse will work closely with other health care professionals to promote a high standard of care in the prevention and management of pressure ulcers ensuring the pressure ulcer policy & pathway are followed. The role will include responsibility for the wound care of the inpatient and community population, and those attending the Wound Clinic.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Tissue Viability Nurse to join the integrated tissue viability team to provide a specialist service across the organisation. You will work as part of a highly motivated and proactive tissue viability team which is able to provide professional and personal development opportunities and offer appropriate support for this post.You will have an active role in all aspects of wound care management within the Trust, including audits, pressure ulcer management and reporting, prescribing and leading on training programs for all aspects of tissue viability.
Are you ready for the next level in your career? You may have a Tissue Viability qualification or an equivalent knowledge of tissue viability issues and a determination to improve the care of patients across all areas of the Trust, this includes the acute and community.
