We have a rare opportunity to join our busy farm department in an administration/support role. This is an exciting role ideal for someone with good knowledge and understanding of the agricultural industry and livestock would be beneficial, although not essential.
Your duties will include:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Communicating with pharmaceutical company reps
- Stock control and rotation
- Dispensing prescribed medication under supervision
- Assisting with invoicing
- TB administration
- Assisting with laboratory samples/testing
- Responsible for the organisation of vet and TB tester diaries
- Typing up farm health plans

We operate across three locations, offering small animal, equine, and farm animals, all conveniently situated close to each other. Our state-of-the-art facilities enable our clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a strong focus on maintaining high clinical standards, which we continually strive to develop and enhance.
Our team is a close-knit group of 30, including veterinary surgeons, nurses, support staff, and clinical directors. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, be well organised with good attention to detail and show initiative. They will also need to be computer literate and comfortable working under pressure and in timescales.
Your shift pattern
This is a full/part-time job share role, working 40 hours over 5 days plus a Saturday morning on a rota basis.The salary is up to £23,795.20 depending on experience.
