Job Duties:
The Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective maths lessons to students on a supply basis. Duties include planning and preparing lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.The teacher must maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Maths Degree - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching maths in a school setting is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Mathematics - Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or inclusive education
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a school setting in Buckinghamshire. The teacher will interact with students, colleagues, and parents to support the learning and development of students in mathematics.
