SUPPORT WORKER OPPORTUNITIES – CAMBRIDGESHIRE
A client, a highly regarded specialist provider for young adults with complex needs, is looking to recruit Support Workers for permanent roles in Meldreth, near Royston.
Key Information:
Location: Meldreth, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire borderPositions: Full-time and part-time available (minimum 24 hours per week)
Salary: £25,729.60 - £28,059.20 per year (£12.37 - £13.49 per hour)
Training: Full training provided, with funded Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care after probation
About the Role:
Support Workers play a vital role in empowering young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. The role includes: ✔ Supporting personal care needs, including hygiene and dressing
✔ Assisting with medical requirements and therapies such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy✔ Encouraging independence through activities like shopping trips, enterprise projects, and community outings
✔ Working in specialist environments, including sensory gardens, a skills centre, and therapy rooms

✔ Ability to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends
