Social Care Personal Assistant (10 hours p/w term time & 15 hours during school holidays)

I am a young boy living in Swansea. I have ASD, Down Syndrome and Learning difficulties . I am a happy go lucky boy. I am very friendly. I am no trouble. I get frustrated as I struggle to communicate. I enjoy playing with my tablet and watching You tube videos.

Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
I also enjoy playing with my toys. Once I have had enough, I will stop. I can get frustrated and throw my toys, but this will mean that I need personal care. I do not like dogs as they can trigger me. I will need to avoid noisy places. Some things will depend on my mood. I am looking for a PA to get to know me and help me have some fun.
Driver required to take me out.

Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment.Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
