About the Role:
- Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching available for the right candidate)
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons
- Supporting students of all abilities to make progress and achieve their targets
- Contributing to the development of the English curriculum and literacy initiatives
- Taking part in extra-curricular activities and supporting whole-school events
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to high standards, student progress, and inclusive practice
- A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and professional development
