Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Engineer Support to join our dynamic team in the defence sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, systems engineering, and the application of AI-based productivity tools and emerging technologies.This role is pivotal in supporting our systems engineering processes from a business perspective, ensuring the effective exploitation of AI and other advanced technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Oversee and manage data related to systems engineering projects, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
- AI and Emerging Technologies: Leverage AI-based productivity tools, generative AI, and other emerging technologies to enhance systems engineering processes and business operations.
- Systems Engineering Support: Provide expert support in systems engineering, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, and testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI tools and technologies into existing systems engineering workflows.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems engineering processes and AI tool applications, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in systems engineering support.
Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Must hold SC Clearance.
- Nationality: Must be a British National.
- Location: Must be able to commute to Stevenage.
- Data Management: Strong knowledge and experience in data management practices.
- AI and Emerging Technologies: Expertise in the exploitation of AI-based productivity tools, generative AI, and emerging technologies in a business context.
- Systems Engineering: Proven experience in systems engineering, including knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
- Technical Skills: While AI coding is not required, a solid understanding of AI applications in systems engineering is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the defence sector or a related industry.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience with specific AI tools and platforms used in systems engineering.
