Senior Designer - Aman Studio

Overview:

Aman is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Designer to lead the development and execution of creative and design projects across the Aman Group portfolio, including Aman and Janu hotels & resorts and Residences.

Supporting the Creative Director on broader creative initiatives across the Aman Group portfolio, including Aman and Janu hotels & resorts, F&B brands, and other design-led projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and creative execution of digital and print collateral for luxury residential developments, ensuring all outputs align with Aman’s brand while maintaining elevated editorial and refined design standards.
• Work across various brand development projects, focusing on identity design across Aman’s portfolio of residential and F&B brands, ensuring clarity of application and consistency across all touchpoints
• Drive the creative vision and day to day execution on a variety of design projects, including brochures, signage, environmental graphics, wayfinding systems, and high-end marketing materials.
• Provide art direction for various projects including property inventory shoots, F&B capture and video content, ensuring the visual narratives resonate with Aman’s clientele and reinforce the brand’s luxury positioning
• Support ongoing development and consolidation of brand guidelines
• Ensure consistency in brand storytelling across print and digital platforms while pushing the creative boundaries within brand guidelines.
• Work closely with marketing channels to ensure consistency and quality in how the Aman brand presents across digital platforms
• Provide hands-on design expertise, guiding the team through the creation and refinement of visual assets to achieve a cohesive and luxurious final product.
• Possess a thorough understanding of complex production processes, particularly for high-end print and environmental design, ensuring deliverables meet technical and aesthetic standards.
• Collaborate with production teams and vendors to ensure the highest quality materials, finishes, and execution techniques are employed.

• Manage and mentor a small team of designers and freelancers, providing guidance and support to foster creative excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, development, and operations teams, to ensure design solutions meet project objectives and brand requirements.
• Work closely with external agencies, architects, and suppliers to align creative outputs with broader development strategies.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest design and brand standards.
• Provide clear direction and feedback throughout the design process to ensure consistency and alignment with Aman’s vision.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior design role within luxury hospitality or lifestyle sectors. Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end editorial design, print production, and environmental design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma (required).
• Solid understanding of print production processes, materials, and environmental applications with experience collaborating with print and fabrication vendors.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong eye for typography, layout, and composition.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and manage a creative team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
• Understanding of complex production processes, particularly in print, environmental, and experiential design, ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards of quality and sophistication.
• Our ideal candidate will drive creative direction, maintaining a strong connection to Aman's brand identity while bringing a refined, editorial eye to elevate design standards across all touchpoints.
• Previous experience managing a small team of designers and freelancers, is preferred.
• Familiarity with SketchUp and AutoCAD (preferred).
