At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a school in Sale who are actively seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant that can join their team within the Y3 class. The school have mentioned that they are looking for the candidate to start at school just after February half term.
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching and learning process. You will work alongside the class teacher to deliver high-quality education, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to succeed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting individual and small group learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging lesson activities.
- Providing pastoral care and encouraging positive behaviour.
- Helping to assess student progress and maintaining records.
- Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) where appropriate.
- Working closely with other staff members to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Has a passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable, and a team player.
- Possesses excellent communication skills and can build positive relationships with both students and staff.
- Has experience in supporting children’s learning, ideally in a primary school setting.
- Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential.
