Secondary - Science Teacher - Reading

The successful candidate will have significant experience teaching science within the UK education system.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that comply with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development.
• Foster a positive learning environment that stimulates curiosity and enthusiasm for learning among students.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and disciplined atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• A degree in Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in the UK.
• Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
