International Sales Manager, £50K Basic, £75K OTE (Uncapped and Year One Realistic. Year Two and beyond is completely uncapped.

We're seeking a highly motivated International Sales Expert with mechanical engineering sales experience to sell our client's highly patented system to both the UK and global markets.

The opportunities are endless as it is a low-cost high-value solution sold to manufacturers and system integrators that can demonstrate a return on investment within months. Existing clients range from construction product manufacturers to food and beverage companies and everything inbetween.

If they're using any form of industrial automation, this solution will help.

This is a £10M business within a multinational group that genuinely has £100M potential in the next few years - we need you to drive the sales!

What Is Needed to Apply to the Role of International Sales Manager
  • Experience selling products into major manufacturers that use conveyor systems.
  • International sales experience ideally selling to end users and setting up distributor agreements.
  • A proven track record in business development.
  • Drive, ambition and the desire to 'make a name for yourself' within an International Engineering business and earn unlimited rewards.
  • A qualification in engineering would be useful (either an apprentice trained engineer or degree in Mechanical engineering) but your proven record in new business generation is more important.
  • Excellent English language skills are a 'must have'. An additional language would be a plus but is not required.
  • Experience of project management and project implementation is desirable.
  • High levels of self-motivation, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach are essential.
  • A business-minded personality with a strong customer-oriented attitude and technical understanding.
  • International travel (approx. 30%) will be required, including trips to Europe and the USA for trade fairs.
What You Will Do as an International Sales Manager
  • Identify and win new OEM and end-user accounts, expanding market reach and exceeding targets. You'll qualify leads, create compelling pitches, and expertly demonstrate the value of the solution.
  • You'll become the "product guru", providing top-notch technical support to customers and distributors, both in-house and externally. This includes product introductions, training, troubleshooting, and prompt resolution of any issues.
  • You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective inbound marketing to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
  • You will cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with key customers and distributors, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • You will conduct market research, analyse customer buying behaviours, and provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline value, and market trends.
